SPIRITUAL BASIS

Sree chaitanya gaudiya math organization has its origin in the teaching and practice of Lord Sree Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu ,Who appeared at Sree Mayapur in the district of nadia in West Bangal in 1486 A.D.The Divine Missionary work started during the life -time of Lord Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu at Sree Mayapur in or about 1505 A.D.The spiritual mission of Lord Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was amply demonstrated when He inundated old bengal ,Orissa,southern india and Northern India with "Krishnaprema"(transcendental Divine Love) and distributed it to all human beings freely, irrespective of nationality religious faith caste and creed as well as all other species of animated beings.His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad 108 Sree Sreemad Bhakti Dayita Madhav Goswami Maharaj, revered Founder-Acharya of All India Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math Organization has taken up the holy task in perceptorial line of executing the mandates of Lord Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and establised preaching center as well as cultural, educational and charitable institutes in different parts of India.

The Prisident Acharya--Srila Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj was born in 1924 in Assam, India. After completing his master in philosophy at Kolkata University in 1947, he came in contact with his spiritual master, Sree Sreemad Bhakti Dayita Madhava Goswami Maharaj and soon accepted his shelter.
Since then he has been a full-time monk. After the disappearance of his spiritual master in 1979, he was appointed as thePresident- Acharya of Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, which has over twenty four ashrams in India alone.

Since 1997, he has been traveling the glove, enlivening all who come in contact with his sweet personality and message of divine love.
